What a joy it is to introduce you to Harvest Ministries. We are a church of people from all walks of life that have a common thread uniting us together. That thread is the blood of Jesus Christ, our risen Savior. The Bible clearly teaches us that all who have chosen to accept God's free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ have become new creations. The apostle Paul penned these words: "Therefore, if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, and the new has come!" 2 Cor. 5:17. Our past has been forgiven and we walk in newness of life as God's children.

Church History

According to the conference records, the First Pentecostal Holiness Church Of Jacksonville, Florida was organized in 1916. It was officially received into the Florida Conference on November 7, 1916 with a reported 13 members and a Sunday School average of 29. Ira L. Adams was reported as the church delegate to this conference. The church was later renamed Harvest Ministries.

Denominational Affiliation

Harvest Ministries is a local congregation of the IPHC (International Pentecostal Holiness Church). We are a part of a historic pentecostal denomination that traces its beginnings back to the late 1800s. Briefly, we believe in Justification by Faith, Sanctification, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Conference Affiliation

Harvest Ministries is a part of the Sonshine Network Ministries. We have 250 churches and over 700 Licensed and Ordained Ministers. Most of our churches are in Florida, Georgia, and Puerto Rico. However, we do have some churches in other states and countries.
